Just throwing this out there.
First let me say that I love Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch, the show Sherlock is one of my new obsessed fandoms.
With that out of the way, I’ll say this..It bothers me that people are freaking out about the Hobbit just because they are in it. Totally disregarding the fact that its the freaking HOBBIT. A movie people have been waiting for years to be made. A book that was the beginning of the most incredible trilogies of all time. A book that was the foundation of childhoods. Yes, Martin’s going to play an amazing Bilbo, and Benedict as Smaug is going to be great too. I know at first we were all like, “Haha they were in Sherlock together, now they are in the Hobbit too.” But seriously? The posts on tumblr saying how the Hobbit is going to be amazing just because Martin and Benedict are in it, or that you’re only going to go see The Hobbit because of them. That’s sad. How about, “I’m going to go see the Hobbit because it’s based off an amazing book, and it takes place before the academy award winning LOTR trilogy thats considered some of the best movies of all time. Martin and Benedict are in it as well, that’s a great bonus”
Okay. Back to homework.
